How to Change the Position of the Desktop Wallpaper

Default Windows settings gives you the limited options for centering or tiling the desktop wallpaper. With this registry hack you can move and place the desktop image anywhere on your desktop.

All the trick will be done with changing the default settings into Windows system registry, a directory which stores settings and options for the operating system.

1. Go to Start - Run
2. Enter regedit and OK
3. In Windows Registry editor navigate to
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop]
4. Create two new string values of WallpaperOriginX and WallpaperOriginY. If the values already exist then simply modify them.
5. Set new values in pixels

WallpaperOriginX value will position the desktop picture horizontally and WallpaperOriginY vertically.

Now all you have to do is play and position the desktop picture on your favorite spot on display.
